Team building

At Timebandits, we see a company not only as a place to work at but also as a social space. With the help of team building, you can play a positive role in shaping this space and giving your employees the opportunity to develop successful teamworking.

Here we would like to show you why we consider team building to be important and have put together some recommendations from our programme: from ↓ easy team building to ↓ challenging team building. We also present our individual ↓ team development programmes. The links will take you directly to the sections.

Space for new things

Having the opportunity to meet and get to know each other outside of the office and without the pressure to perform, improves teamwork. If the trust between the members of a team is strengthened, unexpected strengths can emerge and completely new ideas can be developed. Because people who are respected and valued – regardless of their function in the company – can develop more freely and are happier at their workplace.

Why is team building so important?

Working groups may be efficient, but a team that pulls together achieves top performances. We believe that the journey from a group to a team can be encouraged through targeted team building activities. After all, the simple fact that people work together at the same place on a daily basis is no guarantee of a lively team spirit.

Problematic group dynamics

such as marginalisation, hostility or even just indifference, lead to insecurity in the workplace and impair the efficiency of your team. If you strengthen trust within a team, the members feel more secure and can share ideas, take part in discussions as well as realise their potential without fear.

Seeing yourself as a team

In order to bring your employees to see themselves as a team, they must have time and spaces in which they can experience themselves as a group. This can lead to valuable insights: How do my colleagues work and why? What strategies work for collaboration in our team? What are our shared values and goals?

The result: a team that not only works together, but also inspires, advances innovation and celebrates successes together.

That’s why we believe that team building is good for everyone!

RELAXED TEAMBUILDING

Sometimes the best team building is simply having fun together and getting to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Many of our popular, pre-designed team events focus on fun and adventure. They provide the space for teambuilding quite incidentally. These group activities are particularly useful when, for example, new members join the team, a new project team is formed or when two departments meet. In these cases, the great communal experience alone can create team cohesion.

Participants often work in small teams and solve various team challenges in a creative way.

The Rallye Berlin and the Spy Mission through Berlin from our city adventure category constitute relaxed team building events in Berlin.

For relaxed team building events in Brandenburg or in the countryside, we recommend the Potsdam Adventuretour or Boßeln in Brandenburg or in the area surrounding Berlin.

From our games category, the Bingo Quiz Show, Bread & Games or the Team Olympics meet the criteria for casual indoor team building events in Berlin and nationwide.

All of these team events are ideal for an entertaining, relaxed get-together with varying degrees of adventure.

CHALLENGING TEAMBUILDING

If you want to go a little deeper, there are numerous team events in our programme during which teams can not only master fun challenges together, but also initiate a long-lasting development and long-term changes.

The next step to success

At these events, the teams are challenged to a greater extent and the team members will experience a bigger adventure. The playful and creative challenges are bigger and the resulting enjoyment of success is more euphoric. This increases team spirit, mutual appreciation and recognition of each individual’s strengths within the team.

Our Berlin Adventuretour and the Operator’s Game are great examples for challenging team-building events in Berlin. From the creative team events category, our Graffiti Event in Berlin is ideal for a proud overall experience.

For a challenging team building event in Brandenburg, the surrounding area of Berlin or in the countryside, you can try Brandenburg Geocaching, Team Games in Nature and the Grunewald Expedition.

For challenging indoor team building in Berlin, but also nationwide, we can recommend the Silent Film Shoot, the Escape Game ‘The Legacy’ or a Graffiti Event in a large indoor location. You can experience particularly intensive team building with our Teambuilding Games Parcours event

All team events end with a positive conclusion, amongst others with an admiration of a spray-painted work of art or with the award ceremony including a photo show after the Berlin Adventuretour. We ensure that your team has a successful team-building day and that their memories of this day will leave a lasting impression on their everyday working life.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

If you want to move your team forward by not only strengthening cohesion, but also giving space for conflicts to be solved, making the team more productive and develop potential, we are happy to support you with a personally tailored team development programme.

Intensive and targeted

We will discuss with you which ideas, needs and issues you and your team have and develop a customised programme. For example, we can combine different modules to create the best possible experience for your team. This can range from a 2-hour workshop or a team retreat lasting several days to regular team training.

We support your team in overcoming individual hurdles and realising their shared potential.

Accompanied by our crew, your team will experience a mixture of group challenges, trust exercises and fun. In between, various reflection methods create moments in which team dynamics can be discussed openly. The aim is to use the experiences during the challenge to discover insights about the team members and to actively address them. During the next step, concrete proposals for change can be developed and then implemented in everyday working life.

Enjoying the process

From our large selection of cooperative challenges and different reflection methods, we create a setting in which conflicts and problems can be recognised, negotiated and improved. If required, we can also bring in experienced coaches to accompany the group and touch upon potential problems and conflicts.

A personalised team development event can help to achieve the following:
