The Frisian sport now also in Berlin and Brandenburg
What you can expect:
Boßeln – a popular Frisian sport and long overdue to conquer Berlin. So it’s time to bring this group pastime, also known as ‘street bowling’, to the capital. Don’t worry, we restrict ourselves to roads and paths without motorised traffic.
Boßeln is played with special bowling balls in parks, wooded areas and other suitable open and green spaces in Berlin and Brandenburg, for example. We have explored beautiful areas for you that are very suitable for Boßeln. We are also happy to explore and prepare other areas in your neighbourhood on request.
Whimsical, simple, ingenious
Divided into groups, you go to the starting line and, by swinging your arms vigorously, get your team across the finishing line with as few throws as possible.
With curvy tracks, green on the right and left, it’s not just about the strongest throw. Beginners in particular can achieve amazing throws with the light balls.
Of course, don’t forget the appropriate ‘target water’, which goes on the journey in style in a handcart.
What goes around, comes around
Of course, every good round of Bpßeln is followed by a stop in a pub or, during the Summer, in the beer garden, where you can reflect on your ‘heroic deeds’. Here, too, we have of course found the right destination for you.
